Tablets vs Textbooks Tablets are not only more efficient; they are all around better than textbooks. Should schools have personal work tablets? We all should, be allowed to have their own personal tablets for work, assignments, check updated due dates, etc. Some schools have this device to help the answer some of their questions that you may not be answered in class. There are not many complaints about having these devices to help. It helps the students and the teacher very much. Although they are pricey, they will be worth it in the long run. Tablets can be used for multiple things help, assignments, attendance, e-mails, and more. Tablets also help each individual student prepare for a world that is changing and advancing in a world of technology such as a job he or she might have of advance to in the future, studies, and more schooling opportunity’s. Tablets with e-books can be updated and linked to a newer and better version with just the touch of a finger then the learning and resources never end. As if were books in order to get a newer and better more updated version of the copy that is owned you would have to order a whole new book and pay the price of a new one. Teachers can send e-mails with worksheets and assignments to students out of school or for a snow day work. If the student has any questions about the assignment, he or she can email the teacher with questions. Tablets with cameras and live video streaming capabilities the student can live video chat with teacher for help on an assignment.
