BRIEF SYNOPSIS
TIM HARTMAN (33) is a charming, but insecure dog trainer. His life is turned upside down when a major tech conglomerate moves into town unleashing robotic companions that will soon replace the need for a real dog.
Tim and his assistants need to come up with a plan quickly, or Tim will soon be out of business. Tim meets GRACE (31) when she wants to buy a dog. Tim doesn’t know that Grace is the daughter of STEVEN BARREN, the tech nemesis, or that Grace is the team leader of the robotic program.

However, it’s challenging to see how this premise will sustain a TV series, but it definitely could make for a movie.
One solution to consider is the idea that Tim is actually promoting his dogs – his robotic dogs. Maybe he’s a failed inventor and now he has come up with the robotic dog, hoping to save his business. Maybe he has his own dog and this can create an on-going gag robotic dog vs. real dog.

There are, however, some smart story choices, such as Tim meeting Grace, who buys a dog and hides her real identity. Again, this also feels more like a plot point that one sees in a romantic
