Being a TCU horned frog feels right for many reasons. TCU affords me the opportunity to move away from my hometown, Waco, it allows me to select from any of the majors I've considered; it provides me all of the resources I need to learn and excel; and it means I get to cheer on one of the best football teams in the nation, all while being in a faith-growing environment. When people go to college you expect to have to do things on your own with little to no assistance, and that all the staff members will be a Grinch. Well I like to keep an open mind, and believe everyone, and every place is good. But I truly believe that Tarrant County College is a great school filled with faculty ready to help when they can, and good resources provided for every student when needed. Baylor University students exhibit unique characteristics in a variety of ways, including in their modes of transportation. While some walk or drive to class, many students prefer bicycles. The university has been gracious enough to provide bicycle racks at all residence halls and academic buildings; yet, students have been parking and locking their bikes to benches or stair rails outside of or near these establishments. The Baylor University Department of Public Safety declared that doing so was prohibited on campus.
