My expertise in literature helped me make an on the TAAKS test in the third grade. I wanted to be prepared so I could get a good grade. To prepare, I began reading more advanced books. When the day of the test came, I knew it was a hard test. But luckily, reading more had helped me. Reading had increased my vocabulary, so I could understand sentences more it also taught me how to use context clues to figure out what was going to happen next. Lastly, it helped me comprehend stories quicker, so I could understand what was happening faster, which helped because it was a timed test. Overall, my preparation and expertise in literature led me to success on making an on the TAAKS test.
