There were two 12-year-old girls in Wisconsin who were so mentally ill that they lured “their friend into some woods to repeatedly stab her as a sacrifice to a fictitious horror character…Investigators have said the two plotted for months to lure their friend into the woods after a sleepover. They intended to kill her, police say, to win the favor of SlenderMan...They wanted to kill for him, in part, to prove his existence...The girls, 12 at the time of the stabbing, believed they would have a home in Slenderman's mansion if they carried out the attack.” (Tyrell, 2015, p.1). Slenderman is an eight-foot tall featureless man like creature that is the product of a fake internet story designed to scare teenagers. So for these girls to believe he is real just means something is not right in their minds. Again like the wrestling case, they were both old enough to realize that their friend was screaming for help and in pain because of what they were doing. These two girls should be sentenced to life without parole because they obviously they need mental help, and they can get that in prison, where they can’t hurt anyone
