On 02-23-18 at approximately 1700 hours, I arrested and transported Ramon Richard Arvizu to the Pasadena Jail for booking (Under PPD Case #18002500). It should be noted that I have had several police contacts with Arvizu on the west hillside on State Street and Railroad Street near the Pasadena Power Plant. Arvizu had a transient encampment set up and was living on the above hill for several weeks. Upon my arrival to the Pasadena Jail, I asked Arvizu if he knew anything about the fire which occurred at the bottom of the hill where he was living, on 12-08-17. This report looks at the consequences of fire on recovering forests of Australia. A survey was taken in 2011 at Anstey Hill in two different locations, one at the location where Ash Wednesday took place in 1983 and at another location where and uncontrolled fire took place in 1995. The survey looks at the recovery time of ground and canopy cover since the fires took place. After a controlled burn in the location of Ash Wednesday in 2012, another survey in 2015 shows the recovery once again of this site.…
