It all started when me and my partner in crime found an old cane in my grandmother's basement, we found this old cane with a gold colored top. The cane brown and slightly scratched up. The mysterious cane also had a name and a date on the delicate gold top. The cane had writing on it, it said T.P. Grout Feb 27 1858 - 1908. Me and my partner decided to find out who this person was, and this is what we found…. T.P. Grout was a noble woman and her full name was Teresa Pearson Grout. She was actually born in 1840 and died in 1928 and was raised in Pipestone, Minnesota. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She was the smartest out of the 6, and she was the third born.
