Tōshirō is a Shinigami, a protector of souls going through reincarnation. They purify evil creatures within the World of the living called Hollows, and ensure the safe crossing of souls who have lost their way after death. He is the captain of Squad 10 of the Soul Society’s Court Guards: Gotei 13. Tōshirō is easily annoyed by others goofing off or drawing unneeded attention to themselves. Which is similar to me because I value education and achieving good grades and in order to do that I try my best to stay on task and do my work so I expect others to do the same even though I shouldn’t expect much of others but when they don’t I get annoyed. Tōshirō hates anything that he deems immature as well as being described as something close to a child, such as an elementary schooler. I hate whenever people say to me “You’re tiny” and “How tall are you?” because I understand I’m tiny. I have Turner’s syndrome for heaven's sake! But not many students know that since we can’t always know someone’s life story. He is overly protective of his childhood friend, Momo Hinamori. I cherish my friends and family because they shaped me to the person I am today by valuable lessons and being able to rely on them so in return I will back them up whenever it’s necessary. …show more content…
He can release a dragon called Hyōrinmaru that flies towards opponents and instantly freezes anything it touches. Hyōrinmaru can create multiple ice dragons to attack an opponent from various angles. Tōshirō can also direct his slashes towards the ground and form a wave of ice, which rushes over his opponents, freezing them. The power it expels is so overwhelming that its mere release affects the weather by creating a thunderstorm or blizzard.
