Systems based practice is the processes that are involved in health care that allows health care professionals to provide cost effective care. Having such systems allows for patient information to be easily accessed, kept private and out of sight of other individuals, and ordered appropriately with important patient history and past visits. A lot of areas of nursing have such systems and they are compatible so student or patient records for their primary care provided can be pulled up through the computer technology that has advanced greatly over the years. Recently I was able to pull up student’s physicals, document all of their vaccines and how many doses received in a national database. This was completed in order to record and document
