These are training seminars and business analysis that go above and beyond being the company you order chicken from (The Power of Partnership, 2016). This shows an above average level of service that reflects their mission statement. They have numerous delivery options, business consultation services and nutrition and sustainability programs that allow their customers to increase their knowledge of the food industry and it’s many social, health and environmental impacts (Customers First, 2016). Anywhere. The ‘About Sysco Corporation’ page seems as if it’s specifically there to tell the whole story of the company and lead us into the full mission and vision of Sysco. Instead, it is two sentences that state a differing mission statement from the American site. Confusing as it is, I really like this page. The mission is “Helping our customers succeed” (About Sysco Corporation, 2016). I think that statement is clear and applicable. Their goal is to have employees go the extra mile for customers and in turn that will drive their business.
