Sysco Case Study Summary

Sysco's main issue is that, they are using different hardware and software platforms. Senior managers are having a hard time pulling a specific information because they are configured differently even if the companies are using the same software. The data of the customers are stored differently from different organizations. They had implemented ERP to resolve this issue. Other information was not consistent that is why Sysco implemented a data warehouse as well. Though they have the data warehouse, Sysco does not have a technical experience on monitoring information. They also need to decide whether they have to update their IT software or adopt a business intelligence software.
