Syrian Refugees Research Paper

More than eleven million and counting Syrian civilians have been forced from their homes due to the immense warfare, unbearable living conditions and the inability to access a safe education. Syrians are fleeing to neighboring countries as refugees which is causing a refugee crisis. In the eleven million and counting displaced Syrians, over half of these are children.Civilians have been fleeing to neighboring countries such as Jordan, Lebanon , and Turkey, but also far away countries such as Europe in hope of a better future. The Syrian government is responsible for attacking and even killing their own citizens, in efforts to smash the rebel force. Not all those who are attacked or murdered are guilty of rebellion. The war in Syria has caused countless problems for its citizens which has in turn forced them out of their homes, leaving them as refugees, tortured and or even left for dead; the populace should be informed about the violation of human rights occurring and take action to decrease such activities.

What started as a pro-democracy protest in the school yard of a southern Syrian city, later escalated to open fire, quickly killing some of the young protestors. This overturned the country into a civil war as rebel forces banded together against the current standing government. The Syrian Arab Republic, is a country in the middle east which is in the ties of a civil war for the past four years. .Numerous human right violations are occurring to Syria’s civilians on the daily. A few examples of human right violations that are the most prominent are; civilians being forced out of their homes, leaving the country as refugees, tortured, or murdered.
