The U.S needs to help the Syrian crisis, and they need to help now. Syrians are being wrongfully murdered all because they’re seeking the freedom everyone is entitled to. When Syrians spoke out against their government and president Bashar Al-Assad, he reacted in a manner of anger and aggression. He began mistreating them and this made certain people mad, so mad rebels began forming rebel groups to stand up against president Assad. These groups include ISIS, Kurds, and Free Syrian army. These groups have caught innocent Syrians in deadly crossfire. These people are being destroyed with their homes being bombed, family members dying and taking shelter from bombs everyday all day. The U.S is worried about terrorists getting in but in reality, ISIS is recruiting Americans in America, terrorists are already in the U.S born and raised. Imagine waking up in Syria, imagine raising children there. (Khanl El Aala) mentioned the mental affects from children in a war country. “How parents expressed seeing their kid’s withdrawal, become condensed from fear of war, families were dealing with things they had no idea how to cope with.” “1 million refugees are in some sort of camp.” No one has done anything for these human beings suffering for seven years, seven years of war and nothing has gotten better. Eventually this Syrian war will turn into the U.S war, if no one does anything to stop rebel groups or other countries from taking over and invading. The government in Syria should be shut down and or tried for the crimes they’ve committed against their own citizens. It’s hard to reason with all sides when there is not one day of non-fighting. Nothing can be done if no one can sit down and discuss things that need discussed. There is no end in sight for this seven-year war and it’s a sad reality for the civilians of
