Americans could imagine Syria as a postmodern apocalypse. Mooney (2014) states that as of September 2014, almost nine and half million people have been forced to leave Syria due to the conflict within. That does not include nearly six and a half million people displaced within the country. Displacement is when a population is forced out of their homes due to whatever reason, and have to find new territory to inhabit. The war has impacted the citizens greatly that they have no other option but to flee the country to find safety. Civilians residing in Syria are too terrified of their fate to stay. No one should feel forced to leave their home country to keep their life out of danger. Most people who live in Syria, live their lives day to day unknowing of what is to come next. These people do not have the faintest clue of where to go for shelter or even get food to survive. Most displacees are turning to other countries to become refugees. Countries such as Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and many more are taking as many refugees as they can hold. This is a problem that someone needs to bring attention to and fix it. It is not only happening in Syria, but in plenty of other countries too. The Syrian government does not see anything wrong with their actions because they just want to come out on top. The regime is willing to do whatever it takes to survive. Countries from around the world that see that this war has gone on for too long and all the conflict needs to be dropped should come in and intervene to end it. There is no reason to let it go on for this long when there are plenty of countries that could make allies and end the war. If countries do not want to get caught up in the bloody mess, the least they could do is offer to take an amount of refugees so they have a place to go. If this war continues, the country will just fall apart. If the country falls apart, ISIS could end up with even more land to create their
