Synthesis Graphe Research Paper

I synthesis graphene (or carbon) quantum dots by hydrothermal method. Synthetic QDs is blue-greenish fluorescent below UV light but disappear after one day Spontaneous without sedimentation. If I dry then re-disperse, it hasn't fluorescence too. What your suggestion to solving this problem?

What is reason disappearing the fluorescence of synthetic graphene quantum dots spontaneously?
