Following the aftermath of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, citizens were devastated at the 17 lives lost because of the shooter. Now, students all around the country are demanding that a change is set to control the gun rights in America. The Walk for Our Lives movement is a protest organized by students in order to demonstrate their voice and opinions for gun control. A date is set for March 14, a month after the Parkland shooting, to be a 17-minute national school walkout; one for every life lost. Along with that, another walkout is organized for April 20th, to remind the nation of the tragic Columbine massacre, where 15 total lives were lost.
