The post office should stop delivering junk mail and spending time and money doing it by sending them through email. The ecosystem is affected because of the amount of trees being killed for pieces of paper that often are thrown away. In an article about, “[junk mailers] are cutting down trees willy nilly, and that has got to stop.” (Source D, McDevitt) If junk mailers and companies want to send null letters, let it be on the internet. That way if people desire the information they have the ability to print it using their personal printers. By doing this postal offices can save a substantial amount of paper as well as the money it would take to cut down the trees for the paper.
Some argue that the U.S. postal service should not be changed.
