Synthesis Essay: The Diary Of Anne Frank

During the holocaust, a man named Adolf Hitler had a severe hatred towards Jewish people and many others who he did not feel were right for the "perfect race". A particular story was more popular than the others, and that was the story of Anne Frank. Her legacy lives on, and inspires people to never give up and stand for what they believe in. Anne wrote in a diary called kitty and treated it as a real person. It was her little friend who she could tell anything to. Almost everything we know today about the Frank family is known because of her diary. She named the diary 'kitty'. After many months of hiding the Frank family was found in their hiding place, The Secret Annex. They were taken to concentration camps where they later died. But that is just where their story began. Anne's diary allowed us to get an inside look at their family and their conflicts, as well as their experience in hiding. The ways Anne conveyed her ideas and how those ideas affected her and the people who read them is miraculous. One quote from her diary stated, "in spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart." Her bravery has inspired millions of people to show how no matter how bad the situation is at hand, you must stay positive. Being negative will not help the situation at all. The holocaust has many harsh stories and many hard to listen to. Anne story was one which changed how people viewed an inside look at what the Jews went through. Her story has inspired me, and i hope it inspired
