Synthesis Essay: Disrespectful To The LGBT Community

While the laws continue to be disrupting the community and rights of women, the community continues to act out by having peaceful protests and marches throughout the world. A peaceful resistance does not negatively impact the society when certain members of that society are enacting in the resistance; but the others that do not participate are, in fact, deeply offended by it. Although in my opinion, it sheds a positive light on what the people have to say.
Considering the new law about transgenders using the bathroom for whichever gender they were born as bathroom causes an uproar in the lives of Texans now; this law is not only disrespectful to the transgender community, but it can also cause havoc in a place where there should be safety and privacy. Others who are not transgender or of the LGBT+ community should not be able to make a final decision about their fellow citizens if they're not put in the same shoes as the other because then it wouldn't be fair to them and the rest of the society.
Another example of the civil resistance would be the closing of Planned Parenthood. Women don't just come to Planned Parenthood to get abortions over and over and over again in hopes of getting pregnant every once in a while just to get rid of a child that they either didn't want or couldn't take care of. Planned Parenthood is a place for women to come and get screenings for cancer, receive contraceptives, take health exams, and to get information on their health maybe in hopes of one day having a child. The closing down of this business added onto the the recent inauguration of a certain United Sates president are the current events in which women and fellow American counterparts have found themselves in need of participating in such an act of peaceful rebellion.
