It teaches more than what one should learn in the career they are aiming at; it also develops skills and teaches lessons that would be beneficial throughout life. College education assists an individual into finding more about themselves, expand their understanding of it, and eventually, become agents of change who would make a difference (Source B). This post-secondary education becomes a stepping stone, a place in between where one is always supported. The students make their own choices, like the real-world, but is still guided through it, such as high school. It wouldn’t be much of a “culture shock” in a world of where you’ll have to stand on your own two feet, for they have slowly gotten used to being independent during college, which would make them more constructive than those who would feel disoriented and let others lead them due to it. They would be able to openly analyze things critically for they know the basics from college. Furthermore, it creates paths and opens new doors to new beginnings, one connects within one’s self and gets happier with the overall outcome. A majority of college graduates stated that they have grown intellectually, maturely, and had given them a valuable mindset to utilize in their careers (Source F). College will serve as an experience that they could acquire wisdom from.
