Jean Reynolds is a good example of this being fifty one years old, she takes care of seven children two of which are not her own, she was forced to take emergency custody of them when the mother and the father could no longer take care of them. Not only that she is also struggling with everyday household expenses and the medical bills for her daughter. Also getting no help from her ex husband through the whole endeavor. She had to turn to aid from the government for the first time in her life because they were being evicted from their old home.

Jerry is still able to fly out and see his kids that he has not seen in nine years. A plane ticket is not cheap and he had to save up for it, if he just the did the same but instead of buying a plane ticket he would put it into a savings account so he can slowly work his way out off the hole that he’s in. Although Jerry is all by himself Mary doesn’t have that luxury of that because she has her kids to take care of. Mary living in a fairly large house could move from the one that she is living in to a much smaller and more affordable home, while not being the most spacious house they could earn more by spending less on house
