Research Essay Topic Starting the second semester, my class has recently been assigned a research essay. Since I have always been interested in conspiracy theories, I decided to do my essay on one. As I was browsing through conspiracy theories I found many that I like but, one stuck out the most for me. It was a theory called “Paul is Dead”. This referred to the famous musician Paul Mccartney, and a supposed car accident that he died in. Not wanting to shock the world with this bad news, it is said that the Beatles music producers and even a part of the British government tried to keep this a secret by hiring a “Paul Mccartney look alike”. Trying to find a way to tell the fans, the other members of the band hid clues all other their songs

Thus, this letter may well have been the first piece of Christian literature the Roman believers had seen. In Roman culture to choose to be a servant was unthinkable. Paul was a Roman citizen but chose to be entirely dependent on and abide in Christ Jesus (Romans 1:1). Paul’s impact was made known because of his citizenship and willingness to serve and obey Jesus…

In Willa Cather’s short story “Paul’s Case”, it is obvious to the reader that the main character, Paul, is a troubled young man. As you read an analyze the story it becomes clear that Paul’s life has not been easy, yet he inadvertently makes it that much harder on himself. Paul has a desire to join the upper class and an obsession with money, arts, and music along with a distaste for a mediocre life, which stems, in my belief, from his issues with sexuality and ultimately his depression. Paul loathed the middle class neighborhood from which he came from. The story states that “Paul never went up Cordelia Street without a shudder of loathing” (Cather 74) and this feeling of loath can be attributed to his want for the finer things in life.…

One factor that enabled it to grow was that it wasn't a religion of the few, and rich, it was the religion for everyone else. Some groups that would've wanted to be apart of the religion were the plebeians, women, and foreigners. Another factor that made the religion was that Jesus was regular human like anyone else. This made followers feel like they could be him. Paul of Tarsus was a Roman citizen and the leader of the Church.…

Galations and Romans are two of the apostle Paul’s most significant compositions (Harris, 2014). In these compositions he lays out his vision from the Mosaic Torah and justification by faith in Christ. More specifically, in Galations, Paul tells the Galation congregation that circumcision is no longer necessary because obedience to Torah commandments cannot justify the believer before God (Harris, 2014). Only faith and trust in God’s gracious willingness to redeem humanity through Christ can win divine approval and obtain salvation for the individual. In other words Paul defines righteousness and justification and faith to be God’s revelation of Jesus who freed believers from bondage of Torah observance.…

Knapp had explained in his article, A Psychology of Rumor, classifying two different kinds of rumors called the Boogie Rumor and the Wish Rumor. A Boogie Rumor is spreading a rumor based on fear and anxieties, while a Wish Rumor is made from wishful thinking. Wishful thinking is believing something because you imagine it to be true, instead of looking at the facts. Knapp gives this information to be a cognitive way people spread rumors. Paul is Dead related to being a Boogie Rumor because many people spread this rumor thinking there is an impersonator in the band, giving them anxiety and the fear of Paul McCartney actually died.…

A few years after Christ, Paul was born to a family of Jews in the City of Tarsus. His parents were both of Jewish lineage, resulting in his practicing of Judaism in his adolescence. During his schooling, Gamaliel, a Pharisee in Jerusalem, was Paul’s teacher. Paul spent his childhood learning to convert all followers of other faiths to Judaism using any means necessary. The occasional quotes from Greek poets in Paul’s writings allude that Paul also learned Greek and other languages from Gamaliel.…

‘Paul’s Mother’ Lisa Tuttle’s “Paul’s Mother” is an interesting tale about the relationship between a mother-in-law and her only child’s wife, told from the wife’s perspective. It doesn't take long to realize that there is a lot of tension between these two as the opening sentence to the story begins with “Paul’s mother never liked me”. The story takes place in England and is centered around the jealously and disapproval of the husband Paul’s mother, Lone. Though the strategies of Paul’s mother were never entirely obvious (at least to Paul) they were always malicious and discrete.…
