In cases that a person incidentally or deliberately takes a huge dose of aspirin at one time, it is called an acute overdose.
In cases that a typical every day dosage of aspirin develops in the body after some time and causes side effects, it is known as a chronic overdose. This may happen if one’s kidneys don't work effectively or when one is dried out. Ceaseless overdoses are generally seen in older individuals in hot climate areas.
Symptoms of acute overdose may include:
• Upset stomach and stomach pain
• Nausea
• Vomiting, may cause an ulcer or irritation of the stomach known as gastritis
Symptoms of chronic overdose may include:
• Fatigue
• Slight fever
• Confusion
• Collapse
• Rapid heart beat
• Uncontrollable rapid breathing
