Concussions are very serious medical condition that requires medical treatment as soon as possible. Concussions should not be pushed off as a non-serious medical emergency. Even though some concussions are just mild, there are some that are very severe which can actually cause long term problems. Some concussions are caused by a blow to the head. However any type of trauma to the head for example a child falling and hitting their head can actually cause a concussion.
