Oedipus and Antigone have many characteristics that are the same and different. They are similar because they are both prideful and will die for what they believe in whether it is against the law or not. They are also related in the way that they both were self-convicted. They basically allowed themselves to die and they chose to. Antigone could have told Creon that she did not bury her brother, but she felt it was her duty to die and take responsibilities for her actions. She wanted the consequence she deserved.
