Imagine yourself sitting by the window, waiting. Gazing outside with optimism and hope that he will come back. But he does not. Time ticks by slowly, and every second ages your heart rapidly. The bright sun hides as the gloomy clouds eat the sky. Everything is now silent except the beating raindrops on the window. As you stare out the rainy window, you notice water in your peripheral vision, and it is not from the outside. Your heart submerges and everything freezes. Only time sluggishly grudges on. She dented his car, accidentally made him be humiliated in a formal party, and even flirted with other boys. (1-12). Instead of blowing up with red fury on his face, he continued to forgive her thanks to the power of love. My heart was perplexed at first, then was relieved in awe after being inspired. The narrator in the poem wanted to express how she felt when he showed her love and happiness. Those two things are the greatest thing anyone could ask for. Anyone who grows up with love and happiness has a great start for life. This is why I want to be the best brother I can be to my sister. Before she was born, my artwork of life decelerated as I fell into the artist’s stage of struggle and frustration. However, the birth of my sister changed me. She provided me the color I need to continue my artwork, the determination to keep pushing. I try to be the best brother I can be because she saved me and my artwork. Griffith said, “we are each other’s work of art.” The way we connect with other people is truly a work of art like Griffith says. The poem shows how important these connections are. Like the loved one, we can all push through hard and difficult times thanks to the power of love between each
