Symbolism is the art of underlying something behind the works of writing; the art of using symbols with a meaning or expressing the invisible by means of visible (Merriam-webster, 2016). With high technology nowadays, many filmmakers employ symbolism in their movies to make movies’ features more powerful, colorful and pleasant. The symbols always have meaning, not to vague and must be related to the content of the movie or something relevant. A brief list of examples of symbolism in the cinema includes Beauty and the Beast; the Lion King; Snow White; and the Little Mermaid. Those are the incredible symbolic films Disney has ever produced.
