¨The Masque of Red Death¨ is one huge allegory with many meanings for every symbol. On this mask, I drew three symbols that are important to this story. To begin, there are seven rooms. The rooms represent the cycle of life. It begins, in the blue room, purple, green, orange, white, violet, and then the black room. In the story ¨Red Death¨ walks from room to room, till they reach the black room with the red window, ¨There was a sharp cry-and the dagger dropped gleaming upon the sable carpet upon which instantly afterward, fell prostrate in death the Prince Prospero, page 81.¨ This shows that it doesn´t matter if you are wealthy, everyone goes through living, eventually going to die, just like Prince Prospero did.
