According to Wiktionary, phoenix refers to a mythical creature believed to live for 500 years and dies by burning to ashes through a self-made pyre ignited by the sun; it then arises anew from the ashes. Phoenix has been used to symbolize the resilience and determination she has for the success of her grandson. She undertakes a somewhat dangerous and strenuous journey despite her age with an aim to get throat medicine for her grandson. She is, however, unaverred despite the consistent obstacles she faces on her journey determined that her efforts are going to bear fruits. She is decided to take the journey time and again despite her age for the wellbeing of her grandson who happens to be the only surviving member of her family "We is the only two lefts in the world.
