My book was about a boy named Bryce, and a girl named Julianna. Some things about my characters are Bryce just moved to a new neighborhood the summer before second grade. Some things about Julianna is she loved to climb trees and she played soccer and right after soccer she heard about Bryce moving in across from them. When Bryce and his family first moved in Julianne would never leave her mom alone about asking her if she could go over there. When she was finally able to go over there she didn’t stop and ask if she could help them unpack she just went straight to pushing boxes out of the moving truck. Even though they asked her to leave she stayed and kept on helping them pushing boxes out of the way even if Bryce’s dad said that there was …show more content…
The tree she climbed was called a sycomore tree. But one day when Bryce was walking up the hill to the bus stop he noticed that there was huge trucks were the bus parked and realized they were going to be cutting down the sycamore tree and that Julianna was sitting at the to of the tree because she didn’t want them to cut down the tree. After that day Bryce saw that Julianna was not at the bus stop for a few weeks. Introduction Characters in a story evolve due to the struggles and hardships they face throughout the story. In The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck and in Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd the two characters are quite sheltered and oblivious to what is happening in the world. Lily Melissa Owens in The Secret Life of Bees is sheltered and oblivious to what is happening in the world because she has never experienced racism. It is not until Rosaleen, the Owens family house maid, goes into town and attempts to vote, but is beaten up by three racist white men and then is thrown in jail . Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath is sheltered and oblivious to what is happening in the world because he was in prison, with no news about the Dust Bowl.…

In my generation, individuals are filled with secrets that can haunt us, define us and make us question our loyalty to one another. Does sending them secrets free make you feel free? Does the truth set you free? After watching the movie, The Help by Tate Taylor and seeing what Aibileen Clark went through with Minny Jackson, Eugenia “ Skeeter” Phelan, Hilly Holbrook and few more I have analyzed that she fights for what she believes in. In the movie, The Help, Aibileen is the character that has the most development throughout the movie because at the beginning she was bitter and felt there was nothing else out there for her, but that all changed when she helped spill out the truth in The Help.…

Commentary This story is about life and life itself. I took inspiration from books like ‘perks of being a wall flower’ which was based on issues faced by young adults. Also the characters from this book evolved emotionally, without vastly grand events occurring. I tried to make my story like this. Essentially a guy liked a girl and a girl got depression.…

Hush is a horror movie about a woman named Madison Young. Maddie is a mute author, who temporarily lost her hearing and her speaking ability when she contracted bacterial meningitis when she was 13. She ended up losing both her hearing and her speaking ability after she had a surgery that went wrong. Due to Maddie’s disabilities, Hush presents an emphasis on isolation and the importance of existential awareness that other horror movies fail to provide. Hush is different because most of the movie there isn't much noise and dialogue, especially when we’re in Maddie’s point of view.…
