Swot Analysis Zama American High School

I attend Zama American High School and it is a bittersweet situation. This school has a lot to offer but with that comes weaknesses. The weaknesses and strengths work together to make Zama so unique and different from the others.
One of the great strengths that zama offers is the diversity everyone here has a different background and have lived in multiple places for the most part. With the diversity comes acceptance also everyone here is use to moving around and having to start over. So it's really easy to move here and fit right in without problems because we are all a custom to having to start over so we understand. With diversity you learn to respect and value the differences in people.
Another strength is the fact that Zama is academic

Just picture it ass Boo from monsters inc. she was just a innocent child who was just casually minding her business but all of a sudden Sulley takes away her happiness without her being prepared. That's how i imaged this year me planning on going to school like any year minding my business but all of a sudden a skirt and short rule is made where shorts can be 6 inches and skirts 3 this might even be vice versa but the point is no one has or wears shorts that long not even my grandma.Dress code is like something that isn't really a big deal in the states they just allow you to dress however so i really was caught off guard when i arrived here. There is also a no midriff or back rule and i understand some crop tops are too revealing but some aren't that bad. You should be able to come to school dressed however because that will make it much easier and comfortable instead of having to worry about dress code every morning. Then there's some teachers who take the dress code to seriously instead of their actual job they want to be a freaking fashion police. These teachers take up too much of their time trying to dress code when they need to be focusing on their grades and why some students are failing or even focusing on putting grades in grade speed the main teachers who dress code are the ones who never have good curriculum or good grade averages.

If the schools did not have dress codes, the students would be able to wear clothing that is inappropriate or distracting to the other students, and it could take away from the other students’ learning. Without a dress code, student could also wear clothes that promote illegal things like underage drinking or gangs. Schools also typically regulate some of the things that students can say. An example of this is that students are usually punished in some way if they say inappropriate word or insult teachers or other students. This is obviously a necessary thing for schools regulate.…

I would understand some inappropriate clothes with bad messages to restrict, but why do you think 99.99% are not appropriate to be worn at school. What I've come to experience with the dress down is a negative. I remember waking up knowing we had a dress down to not worry about putting my uniform in the washer/dryer. I just threw a t-shirt and a pair of shorts, and I come to school and apparently I just violated the dress code.…

Security and privacy has become a great everyday concern to people. Artists responded to these uncertainties by creating different pieces of artwork to express their feelings. When people walk into the San Jose Museum of Art, they immediately receive a warm welcomed by a lovely receptionist. After showing them a form of identification, such as a SJSU student ID card, and paying a 6 dollar entry fee, they provide a copy of the museum's layout in case people get lost in their spacious building. If people ask nicely, the receptionist is willing to enlighten them about the museum's exhibits.…

The difference between having a Creator mindset and having a Victim mindset is the difference between success and failure. In his book, On Course: Strategies for Creating Success in College and in Life, Dr. Skip Downing defines Creators as people who make choices that result in the outcomes they want to achieve. He defines Victims, however, as people who leave their choices to chance, reacting to things that happen in their lives, instead of making things happen, which often has unfavorable results. If I want to have a successful life and achieve my goals, I must adopt the Creator mindset.…

Before the fourth grade, the thought of practicing my nonexistent Polish when my grandmother called our landline caused me to dash out the room. I was raised in America, and partaking in my Polish culture was simply a way to ease my parent’s nostalgia for their “Polska.” After moving there for a year, I learned new traditions and developed intimate connections with my family. I finally considered myself a Polish-American.…

My field observations took place at Renaissance Charter School at Central Palm. I honestly had a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed my time there. I was assigned to Ms. Pickholtz’s 1st grade class. When I first arrived to the charter school I was extremely nervous and a little anxious because just the thought of actually helping a teacher run a class seemed scary to me because I felt like I would do a horrible job at it. However, I was welcomed by both the teacher and the class…

Strengths and Weaknesses of Zama American Middle High School Zama American Middle-High School is located in Camp Zama, which is known for its beauty, award winning communities, and outstanding services. However, unlike the camp itself, Z.A.M.H.S. is slightly less glorious. While at Z.A.M.H.S. faculty and students are friendly, and the community is very judgement-free, the school’s lack of unity, opportunity, and organization are the prominent characteristics.…

We all know that group of girls who show up to school with their breast popping out of their shirts, butts hanging out of their shorts, and belly shirts that show way too much skin. Obviously, dressing like this to school is in no way appropriate, and should be addressed. Another argument of why the dress code should be enforced is the fact that school is a learning environment and that we should be teaching kids how to dress for the future. By doing this, you are helping young adults understand that wearing a crop top or (for boys) wearing saggy pants to an interview definitely won’t get you a job. Others may say that enforcing the dress code, like providing school uniforms, will help families that are in poverty and will decrease bullying when it comes to making fun of someone’s…

The school I was placed showed a great deal of community in and through the school environment. The students showed a great deal of compassion and respect for one another, especially in the older grades. The students from multiple grades coming together to learn sign language and being able to present musical performances for the hearing impaired was very inspiring. I noticed all grades of students were very much involved with extra-curricular activities such as learning sign language specifically for one student, which had hearing and verbal struggles. This is my understanding of the students coming together to learn sign language to support the student.…
