Audi automobile company is one of the most luxurious in the world, known well for its innovation, safety, good quality and of course luxury. Audi have a very specific product strategy. As a worldwide brand, Audi makes it their mission to create many classes of luxury cars in order to suit every possible taste and preference from the customers who know what they want and those who are unsure. Audi has a wide variety of products that can fulfill the desire of any customer’s needs and wants.

Brands still want to compete in the big leagues especially a brand like Audi. They need to stay competitive and still be able to raise profit without charging ridiculous amount without being able to receive a return on investments. The pricing strategies that Audi works with is that of premium pricing as one of its pricing strategies because of the high end image that the Audi brand has. Each price of a product that Audi sets will determine the perceptions the customer has towards the quality of the brand and the product. Audi positions its brand in a premium pricing place in the market because as they use quality raw materials it is expected that these prices they spend on the details and making of their products are not cheap and look and go for quality all the way. This is why customers associate their high prices with high quality, because that is exactly what it is. According to two of the main marketing and sales position holders for Audi say that the reducing of product prices for certain prestige products, resulted in negative effect on all rounds sales. At the end of the day, Audi does target mostly upper class of the society where mainly money isn’t an issue for the individual of that upper class. Audi uses all sorts of product pricing, where as you have different options for different aspects an element s of the product which will inevitably reduce the price or increase it, all depending on what suits the customer and their desires.
