Apple Inc. is one of the renowned technology companies that designs, manufactures, and sells its mobile technology devices. Since it is a multinational firm, the company experiences massive cash flow that requires a keen management and bookkeeping ensuring that no misstatements are one in any of its financial statement accounts (Apple Inc., 2016). At Apple, the main strategies involve designing, manufacturing, and marketing of media devices and mobile communication, portable digital music players, and personal computers. Apple’s business model also involves the selling of some related accessories, networking solutions, software, third party contents, applications, and services. The firm uses its retail stores, direct sales force, online stores and third-party cellular network carriers. Additionally, Apple makes its money by selling some third party Apple compatible products which include several accessories and application software through its retail and online stores (Apple Inc., 2016). Apple’s strategy focuses on selling to consumers, mid-sized and small enterprises government, and educational institutions.

Intellectual property is the most important part of the innovation that brings about unique technologies that are not known to other companies (Apple Inc., 2016). Infringement occurs when an employee or another stakeholder of a company breaks the rule of confidentiality and leaks the secrets of the company concerning innovations and product development to competitors (Reuvid, 2010).
