President Nixon during his presidential term during (1964-1974) he was involved in a lot of conflict and some good decision. He started his term against a group call OPEC that denied oil exchange with the U.S. Also made a detente with the Soviet Union and European countries. He made the Vietnamization policy to end the involvement of U.S.in Vietnam and give the chart back to South Vietnam. He visited China it was a strategy to make a stronger allied with China. In 1972 Nixon with the Soviet Union leader sign SALT 1 treaty that restrain the race in strategy ballistic missiles armed with nuclear weapons.
