My Strength.
I relocated to United States (I, my husband and two kids) determined to pursue my dreams and goals. We traveled 6,613 miles away from home and familiarity to a strange place where we must now call home. This is the United States! We were excited, elated and our host was wonderful. We were homeless by the time our documents arrived because our host could no longer keep up with the extra bills from hosting a family of four. Two weeks after I arrived in the USA I was homeless, I needed to work two jobs, care for my kids and I also needed to start college.
I worked nights so I can care for the kids and also attend classes during the day. I needed to adapt to the American life/culture fast if I was to survive the daily challenges I
