A second key skill for someone who wanted to take up the role would be: To know your sections inside out and being able to offer creative suggestions to customers about what to buy, this is an important key skill as many times in a supermarket, they are unable to keep everything on the shelves 24/7 so if they have knowledge of all the sections and be able to know the products means they can offer good replacements for the product that the customers wanted, furthermore if they have knowledge of all the sections they can provide excellent knowledge and be able to find the products that the customer requires, this then means that customers return.
