In his article, David LaBounty claims that those who write children’s literature take on roles so that they can teach children how to lie and when to use lies in their lives. LaBounty uses several different examples of authors and their stories to show how they teach children about lying. Aesop’s fables, such as “The Shepherd Boy and the Wolf,” are the first stories that LaBounty uses to support his claim.
