When I talked to Megan, she told me about her experience with switching schools. She thought she would be unhappy with the switch at first, in fact, she was worried about her friends and whether west would actually be better. Megan was very nervous but ultimately decided that switching would be better than her previous situation. Like Megan, I felt worried about my first day at middle school. I knew nobody, most of the people from my elementary school went to Horning and my best friend was going to attend Butler. Only a few people from my old school were going to attend my new school and I wasn’t the most social person. There were many times when I questioned switching, although eventually I decided to stay and there was a reason why.

After class ended I was nervous, yet intrigued. I didn 't know how this new math class was going to be like. Would I make new friends? Knowing my super social personality, I totally would. I didn 't know all the fun memories I would have with her. I didn 't know we would try and start a band with our friends, watch bad movies together, or have an adventure just by trying to get to the mall. I learned so much from her. Especially to appreciate your personal weirdness and individuality. The truth is I was scared of middle school, just like Megan was of changing schools. I didn 't know anyone who was going to central too and I knew I wasn 't very social, but after getting to meet Clare and time passing, middle school became one of my favorite segments of my life. So, even though something terrifies you at first you don’t know how much it could change your life for the
