Swim-Personal Narrative

One bright morning I woke up and decided to go down to the beach. It was 10:30 a.m. and there was a green flap waving in the air. I knew right then and there that it would be a good day to surf. The waves were going to be just right with the wind blowing and everything. I put my swimsuit on really quick. I rushed down to the beach before it got busy. When I got in the ocean it was a little cold, then I got use to it. As I was wading in the water my family came down also. While we were swimming in the ocean we saw something long and dark. Just then we heard my mom yell that there was a shark swimming towards the shore. We tried telling everyone around us that they needed to watch out. Since the shark was swimming close to shore, I decided to just go tanning. So, as I was laying there listening to music I began to break out a sweat. …show more content…
We went on the balcony to watch the shark in the ocean. It was now swimming to the sandbar. We noticed the sandbar had a lot of stingrays on it and they were in groups. As my family and I were watching we noticed that they had left and went to the deep water. We were relieved when we saw that happen. It would have been a very traumatic moment if someone would have got bitten by the shark. We didn’t want to go to the beach for a while. Instead, we went shopping for some pool/ocean items. Also, we went out for lunch at Pineapple Willy’s. I of course got what I usually get. I ordered the clam basket with french fries. At Pineapple Willy’s you can eat inside or you can eat on the pier. We ate on the pier and as we were eating, huge seagulls were trying to get our food.
After shopping we decided that we wanted to go on a helicopter ride. Kyle, Katie, and I rode in a helicopter over the ocean. We saw a sea turtle, stingrays, dolphins and swarms of fish. It was super exciting besides not being able to see a shark. The helicopter ride went about
