There are many issues I would like to see changed in my lifetime. These fall under categories like social, economical and political changes. However, one issue that I passionately want terminated within my life is the usage of sweatshops. Sweatshops are utilized around the globe for the profit of wealthy individuals. Those in poorer countries are exploited to the highest degree for their work. Within my lifetime I aim to see the end of sweatshop labour.
Conditions present in sweatshops are merciless. The practices used violate our own set of workplace health and safety regulations. So the question is why do we allow these practices to continue on? My thought is, willful blindness. It is common knowledge that there are many companies that use
