The Universal Declaration of Human Rights should be established and enforced as a solution to the arguments. However, this declaration should not be established in only sweatshops but also the governments of these countries. Articles 5, 19, 25, and 26 should be the main focus in sweatshops. These articles state that human being should not be treated unfairly or inhumane. Human beings should be granted the right to thought and conscience, education and an adequate standard of living. Treating employees fairly and allowing them to earn a living wage that is specifically above their poverty will not only increase worker production, but will also make the employees loyal to the company therefore, provide a lower turnover rate. Companies would only have to pay approximately $25 more a month per sweatshop employee which is a small amount compared to their profit margin that is made in developed countries and the amount they would save on compensation for ill or injured workers. It is proven that citizens making the living wage are better nourished and more
