Swarthmore: The Best Student

Decent Essays
Of course, Swarthmore is a place that will challenge me, and push me to be the best student I can be, etc. I want to develop and cultivate a lifetime love of learning. I want a challenging environment where I can interact with bright, positive, intelligent people who I can learn from and influence me.
The resources available at Swarthmore are tantalizing. I'm partial to the on-campus activities available and the scope of said activities. With my secondary interest in computer science, the SCCS is a dream.
The fact of the matter is that I don't want to approach college simply as a 4-year stepping stone on the path to a high-paying job; rather as the first major learning experience in a lifetime full of them.

Activity 3.2 One of the biggest challenges that I am facing at the moment is finding the right major for me. Declaring a major has a lot of benefits, for example I would only need to take the classes I need for my major which would save me time and money. As well I could start to apply to internship programs to help launch my career and future. I could also look for a good school with the right masters’ program in my field so I can work on the requirements they need for me to attend ones I graduate. Overall the worst case scenario that I see from not picking a major on time is being hold back ones I reach 45 units, this would waste time something I don’t really feel like I have a lot of.…
