Cain’s lab. The various research projects you and your students are working on and measures you guys use are intriguing. It would have been nice to measure impulsivity in the rats I was researching using some of your methods such as the smaller sooner, larger later test. Currently, I am going through your presentation slides and going through your articles while taking notes. I also like that your research data can be used for translational/therapeutic purposes for humans. While working at SVSU, and in addition to the psychology courses I was taking, I also took neurosciences courses with translational neuroscience being one of them. This course allowed me to be involved with the clinical side of the research I was working on. I ended up volunteering at a neurological rehabilitation facility that allowed me to work with patients, psychiatrists, and occupational therapists.
