As human beings, we are guaranteed human rights that are deemed to assist us to live a sustainable life. Human rights are rights meant to be inherited by all human beings without consideration of nationality, place of residence, sex, religion, race, or any other status. After the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 1948, it made human rights universally interdependent and indivisible under the law obligating governments to act and refrain from them. With regards to this, one human rights topic that captured my attention in class was sustainable housing.
