In last decade, the growing concerns for environmental change, along with the issues of social responsibility and the wellbeing of stakeholders has placed enormous pressure on entities. In order to address the burdens, the sustainability has been put on the organisations’ agendas and the sustainability management has been adopted into daily operation. This approach can maximise profits while reducing negative effects to meet triple bottom line of sustainability—the economic, environmental and social perspectives (Brooks, Oliver, Vesty, Leslie, & Wolcott, 2011). It is significant to achieve environmental protection, social wellbeing and economic development simultaneously. However, most focus apparently has been given on the environmental issues, especially the carbon emission and the Greenhouse effect. The other two dimensions also need attention to address, for example, addressing the poverty and achieving gender equality. In the business context, the sustainability means adopting the strategies and activities that meet the demand of enterprises and stakeholders whilst protecting and sustaining the human and natural resources that will be essential in the future (SASB, 2013). Sustainable issues can affect organisations in several ways. A separately sustainability balanced scorecard is recommended to ensures that sustainability items are monitored more closely and does not involve existing operational measures. Within each perspective of scorecard goals, measures and performance indicator must be defined. In the case of P&G, they issues the environmental sustainability scorecard relying on accepted worldwide standard to improve supply chain collaboration around environmental issues, and encourage the sharing of ideas and capabilities to deliver more sustainable products and services for consumers (P&G,2012).
