Methodology and Process followed for research
For the completion of this research, we focused on collecting primary sources of data through in person and phone interviews of GE Global Supply Chain executives and Operations Leaders with relevant experience across multiple regions around the world, including North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Additionally, we use secondary data available through GE website and other scholarly articles and reference material credited in our reference section. We selected our interviewees candidates based on the company access and the following criteria agreed by the team to cover the scope of our research: * Interviewee candidates would be Global Supply Chain executives or global leaders with relevant experience in leading operations and/or supporting the implementation of the key initiatives listed in this report. * We requested access to interviewees with global management experience, multicultural background and currently working in different regions around the world, to gain better understanding of how GE’s sustainability strategy has been deployed globally. * In order to acquire a better grasp of the company’s operational sustainability strategy, we set out to interview at least five GE global operations leaders.
The detailed profiles for our interviewees are provided in Appendix 2.
