Suspension: A Case Study

In October of 2013, I was involved in a melee that concerned a female that I considered my best friend. Her name is Treaja Bailey, and she was being beaten by three younger girls and one adult. Being 14 years old, I thought I was responsible for fending the girls off, there in the hallway of Cochrane Collegiate Academy. I threw one punch and this landed me ten days of suspension. I do not blame anyone but myself, for I chose to befriend Treaja Bailey. Despite this situation she was a great friend; my suspension was not her fault. From this suspension I learned to be careful of the company I keep. The people I consider my friends can be influential on my lifestyle, and I should not allow a poor decision to alter my destiny.
