According to the constitution of the United States, Article 1, Section 9, clause 2 states “The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended unless when in cases of rebellion or the invasion the public safety may require it.” Our understanding to this statement is that habeas corpus should be in-effect all the time not unless it is needed to be disclose due to a war or for the safety of all human beings. The writ of habeas corpus has the power to protect someone’s life and it could also negatively affect a person’s life.
