How To Start A Sushi Restaurant

If I were to create a company, I would start a sushi restaurant because I love the food that is served and I have worked at sushi restaurants so I have insight into what the restaurant environment is like. My restaurant would be located in the Los Angeles area because people from many different places all over the world travel there every day so there will always be new consumers. Also, employees from nearby companies would be able to come often for lunch breaks and business meetings so hopefully they would be regulars. I would have about 50 employees, including managers, servers, hosts, bussers, bartenders, dishwashers and cooks. People who dine out often and have an interest in food would be the target audience because if they enjoy the food, they would return to dine frequently and also bring along friends. They would possibly help spread the word on social media and by word of mouth which would help with marketing. Many people use social media on a daily basis, so it is important to maintain a social media presence on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, and Instagram to build a connection with consumers. Sponsoring special events and promotions would also bring in more people …show more content…
I would also offer raises and promotions to reward hard working employees as incentives for them to continue their hard work. It would also hopefully encourage them to remain with the company if they see room for growth. Furthermore, if the restaurant receives positive reviews and awards from critics, the staff would feel accomplished and proud to be a part of the restaurant. It is also crucial that employees get their opinions heard so they feel like they contribute to the success of the restaurant.
