Susan's Bugatti: A Short Story

Early on Saturday morning there seems to be a problem. John the 39 year old reporter had been going to work just like normal. John and his reporting crew were waiting for something big that they can report. Everything is going normal, but all of a sudden they get a call saying Susan an 80 year old woman’s car is in the middle of a car chase. They spot the car going one hundred miles per hour on the highway. The police turn on the sirens and go as quick as they can, but Susan’s Bugatti is going faster.

The police had decided that they need to have someone run by Susan’s house and see what’s going on there. Officers quickly arrived to Susan’s house, and were banging on the door. Her door slowly opens and it is Susan, and they realize that her car must’ve been stolen. They asked her questions about it, and she had no idea where her car was. The police officers couldn’t catch her car due to the velocity, and they made the difficult decision of waiting until tomorrow. They didn’t receive any calls or notices of the missing car. They sent out some police cars to try to spot the car, and whoever had the plan of stealing it and causing all of the commotion. They were not certain whether this car was out all night driving far away or if it stopped, and he hopped out. This meant that they had to solve a series of problems. Cop cars were driving all day, and there was no luck, but when they decided to quit looking they received a call reporting a crash involving a Bugatti not too far from their
